I am PASSIONATE about movement and even more passionate about teaching others how to move and feel well. My love for PHYSICAL fitness started as child and fueled me to finally pursue personal training and teaching it as a second career. Although I appreciated the many disciplines of movement, I never really embraced yoga until one power vinyasa class made me sit up and take notice. Svasana was quite a challenge for my type-A personality and overactive brain. However, with lots of practice and consistency, I S L O W LY pushed aside my to-do lists and guilt, and began to quiet the endless chatter in my brain for longer periods of time. My focus shifted inward onto a path of self-discovery, enlightenment, emotional healing, and a calm that I had never known. I structured yoga into my classes and clients’ training programs with profound effects. After 5 years of self-study and various continuing education programs, I found my Holy Grail, Yoga Stream.
I will always be a student of yoga, and now as a YogaStream instructor, I am very excited to share the gifts that I received from the program- the incredible knowledge of movement patterns, biomechanics, anatomy, and bringing the principles of yoga into daily life. I want to inspire people. I want someone to look at me and say, “because of you, I didn’t give up.” I believe how we move on the outside is direct reflection of how we feel on the inside.
Kristi works full-time in a local accounting firm during the day and a personal trainer/yoga instructor in the evenings and on weekends.
